  1. Dining Program Perks - On top of earning 3x points at restaurants, the Bilt Dining Program offers extra rewards when you dine at partner establishments.

Search dining screen showing Tre Sorelle pizza and Tavern on Reade drink. Includes ratings, distance, and option to view details to reserve.

Dining app interface showing "Lucky Day" and "Commonwealth" venues in Las Vegas with ratings, reservation options, and search filters.

  1. Milestone Rewards - Bilt incentivizes your loyalty with milestone bonuses, offering extra rewards like 2x points on gas, sports tickets, or groceries at specific spending thresholds.

  1. Zero Annual FeeYes, the Bilt Card offers all these perks with no annual fee, making it accessible for everyone.

Are There Downsides?

While the Bilt Card shines in many areas, here are a couple of minor drawbacks:

  • The Rent Day maximum points have been reduced from 10,000 to 1,000.

  • No sign-up bonuses compared to some other cards.

  • No credit card offers - there are no deals that you could clip on your card. For example: Amex cards often offer deals for certain merchants like spend $150 get $25 back or get 10% back or get 5x membership points, etc.

But when you consider the unique benefits—earning on rent, no annual fee, and exclusive transfer bonuses—the Bilt Card is still a clear winner.

Maximize Your Bilt Card Strategy

  • Plan Your Rent Day - Use Rent Day to earn double points on dining, travel, and everything else.

I use it to fill up my Starbucks gift card, pay my insurance bills, and anything that I can try to use it on the 1st of each month.

  • Leverage Transfer Bonuses - Watch for Rent Day transfer bonuses of up to 200% to maximize value when converting points.

I have personally took advantage of the Bilt transfer bonus to Alaska Airlines, I managed to capture a 175% bonus.

Transfer details text stating 50000 Bilt Points were converted to 87500 Alaska Airlines miles, on a light gray background.

  • Utilize the Dining Program - Stack Bilt Dining Program rewards for even more points when eating out or by linking your other credit card to the Bilt Wallet

Why I Recommend the Bilt Card

The ability to earn on rent payments alone is groundbreaking, but Bilt goes above and beyond with dining, travel rewards, and global transfer bonuses. Add in the 0 annual fee, and this card is hard to beat for anyone looking to travel smarter.
